1k/1k: Settings of nearly all multiplayer games : 1000 metal and 1000 energy
A4F: Acid foursome, the map
Adv: Advanced, meaning the 2nd and 3rd level units, weapons and factories. For example, Adv. Con Veh (Advanced Construction Vehicle).
AFK: Away From Keyboard, said of a user logged in but not in front of his screen
AI: Artificial Intelligence.
BAI: Bloodthirsty AI, an AI that cheats a lot.
BB: Big Bertha, Arm long range artillery cannon. Sometimes used to mean Intimidator as well, since it is the Core equivalent of the BB.
BLoD: Blue Laser of Death, weapon of the Annihilator, Doomsday Machine, Shooter, Penetrator, and Krogoth.
BSoD: Blue Screen of Death, when Windows dies.
BSR: Brave Sir Robin, an early modder. He's still around.
BT: Battle Tactics : the worthless expansion pack
BT: Build Time, a set amount of time to wait on the game clock before anyone is allowed to attack each other. This is a rule for people who hate getting attacked early in a game. You might see "20 min BT" in the game info. It's not really that common for people to use Build Times anymore but you might still see it in newer players' games.

EMG: Energy Machine Gun. This is an Arm-only weapon carried by the Peewee and Warrior Kbots, Flash tank and Brawler gunship. It is a rapid-fire weapon that is known to create a lot of lag mainly from the amount of packets it sends out and the large amount of sound effects that it creates. Sometimes (because of this lag) players will not allow EMG in their games meaning that you cannot build any of the above-listed units. Also when EMG is banned it is often a given that the CORE equivalent units are not allowed as well. This means the A.K. kbot, Instigator tank and Rapier gunship (these units do not have EMG, but fill the same niche as the ARM units mentioned above).

Marathon: Special type of games developped by the ISJX clan. Its complex set of rules are : West vs Easts on Painted Desert, or its modified equivalent, starting with max ressources (10k/10k), no air at all (not even cons planes), no EMG, no BB/Timy, only one Buzzsaw per team, only 2 nuke silos per players, 10 or 15 minutes of build time during which you aren't allowed to cross mid-map. Later were added the rules : only level 2 units, building in the 1/3 of you territory near the middle line disallowed (particularly on the central hill). Sometimes only 1 nuke per player to prevent the anti-nuke jamming bug.
