Perhaps it's wisest you keep your political view out of

Your statement about Islam is not only provocatively prejudicial and
misguided, but discloses a lack of any knowledge of the contents of
the Quran or an informed understanding of Islam and its adherents.

Logical thought unencumbered by patriotic fervor should prove more
insightful than simplistic sloganisms á la Bush.

I can show you UK muslim groups who say Bin Laden is a fuckwit who hasn't
got a clue what Islam is really about, and practically disown him...

It's kinda like the old German arguement...some people will always assosiate
germany with the Nazis.
Just 'coz of one group of whacko muslim fanatics decide to become public
enemy number one, doesn't mean that all muslims are like that.

This argument is common, but not well thought out.
The Arab countries need our $$ as much as we need their oil. The
relationship is balanced in that respect. Oil will not be less expensive if
we oust Saddam.
Do you think that we will occupy Iraq and take both the oil and the $$? We
had an opportunity to do that before, but did not.
In my mind the results of the war will make large scale terrorism more
difficult and less common. I am not naive enough to believe there exist no
ulterior motives in our government, but I do believe there are worse things
than war - allowing terror and evil are on that list.
France and Russia are resisting the war because of oil interests. Can you
have it both ways?

consider this to be a separate War For Oil (And Control of the
