New modem does not allow TA on msn

I bought a new modem (Alcatel Speedtouch Home ) which I upgraded to PRO
version. When I now try to get on "The Zone" on msn I can't start a game cus
my modem seems to be blocking or giving the wrong IP address, considering
that this modem costs 160 Euro I am not planning to throw it away

Anybody
else know what options I have? I didn't install the software that came along
with it cus I hacked the modem so I am running a hardware firewall now. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thx anyway

Anybody

the modem is not the problem. modems are incapable of blocking IP addresses.

the hardware firewall would be your problem; it's probably blocking the port
that the zone is trying to use to communicate with the zone servers. find
out what port(s) the zone uses and open them.
