IMO, not exactly, if an idea is both significant and good then I would
expect at least SOME "Interesting", "Yes please" or "That sounds good,
are you working on a game with that" style of posts.
On the other hand when bad you get critism, or if it seems that its
badness is obvious then you get flames, OR IGNORED. (al la SPAM)
On the third hand(!) if closer to neutral you tend to get "Whats the
benefit over X" posts.

You have had the last 2, but I don't recall seeing even 1 of the first
type .... Does anyone reading this think that his system will work? And
if it works would it be better or worse than, say, TAs?

Was the concept of Dune praised? Not the game, the concept. My timer
thing is actually a morph of the way chess is timed. Was the concept
of the chess clock praised? Not likely. But it is a software device
which doesn't require manufacturing, as software is. And the concept
is easy to apply, I think.

As in running out of selections? Running out of time can frustrate a
chess player too. That is the possible price a player risks in
exchange for all of the benefits to the whole.

But it is not a mechanical, rigid restraint. The whole thing is
extremely flexible.

Then let me add the phrase "from the point of view of the players of the
nearest RTS (i.e. TA) to this system" Also there was room for a "Yes,
but ...", or "No, unless ..."
